What it runs

It powers all 16 common appliances below, each on its own. A modern full size refrigerator runs about 2.7 days on a full charge.

Running time is usable watt hours divided by the appliance's average draw, with nothing else plugged in. Loads used for minutes a day show minutes of use. Watts vary by model and age. Check the label on your own appliance and enter it for an exact answer.

Recharging

From the wall

Wall charging power and time: not published.

From solar

It takes up to 2,600 W of solar. Worked at 4 peak sun hours, counting 75% of the panel rating to allow for heat, angle and controller losses:

  • 200 W of panels × 4 h of sun × 0.75 = 600 Wh a day. From empty to full: 4,096 ÷ (200 × 0.75) = 27.3 hours of sun.
  • 2,600 W of panels × 4 h of sun × 0.75 = 7,800 Wh a day. From empty to full: 4,096 ÷ (2,600 × 0.75) = 2.1 hours of sun.

From a car

It charges from a car's 12 V outlet at up to 96 W.

Expansion and backup mode

It takes expansion batteries (DELTA Pro 3 Smart Extra Battery) up to 12,000 Wh in total: 10,200 Wh usable (12,000 × 0.85).

Backup (UPS) mode: the maker states a switchover of 20 ms or faster.

X-Boost can run this at up to 6,000 W by lowering the voltage. That suits heaters and kettles, not motors or electronics. The verdicts on this site never count it as output.

It supplies 240 V split phase on its own.
